The Columbia County Democratic Party has planned our election kick-off fundraising dinner event for April 16th, 2016 from 4:00 PM through 8:00 PM at the Carpenter’s Union Hall on River Watch Parkway in Augusta, GA. This is planned to be a first class dinner event and it will be grand!
The cost of the event is $25.00. The funds from this event will support our party headquarters that we will open in August through November. The party headquarters will be set up to GOTV (get out the vote) for registration activities and aggressive phone banking and activities to support all of our Democratic Party Candidates running for office.
The first hour of this event, from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM there will be a candidate forum where you will be able to meet and greet the candidates and listen to their platforms.
The remaining time of the event will be set aside for the dinner and wonderful guest speakers from the Democratic Party and other dinner activities. We plan that there will be upwards of approximately 200 people attending the event from several surrounding counties.
Please reserve tickets early for you and your family members and friends. Tickets are $25.00 per person. They are available at our next 2 public meetings on March 7th and April 4th.
Please get your tickets early as they are expected to go fast. They went on sale on yesterday. Call Lynda Luden at (706) 650-7770 to purchase your ticket.
