Pilot project for Georgians to register to vote or check current voter information through text messaging

Good day everyone…please check this out. Let’s get everyone registered to vote. Our young people should have a lot of fun with this while registering to vote at the same time! I have tried it and it works very well from my phone as well.

ATLANTA, GA – Secretary of State Brian Kemp has announced the launch of a pilot project for Georgians to register to vote or check current voter information through text messaging.

Eligible Georgia citizens are encouraged to text “GA” or “Georgia” to “2VOTE” (28683) to link to the office’s Online Voter Registration (OLVR) site, check their “My Voter Page”, or call the Elections Division for assistance.

“This pilot project brings yet another technological innovation to Georgians’ fingertips so they can easily register to vote and stay informed throughout this important election cycle,” stated Secretary Kemp. “With Online Voter Registration, the ‘My Voter Page’, the ‘GA SOS’ app, and now 2VOTE, Georgia further solidifies its reputation as an early adopter of election technologies for the benefit of current and future voters.”
